Holiday Headache

I can't believe how fast this year has gone by! It's almost Thanksgiving and I'm starting to have a panic attack- because that means it's time to get busy with all the holiday stuff.
We just put our house up for sale yesterday. And I'm kind of hoping we will still be home for Christmas, because if we end up moving before then it will be that much crazier! Ahhhh- somebody remind me to breathe.... at least I have plenty to keep myself busy with (distractions are good right now).
Maybe the snow is making me this way, we got just enough yesterday to make it feel "like that time of year"....
So if anyone has any good holiday advice let me have it.

Birthday Boy

I can't believe our little man is four today! Happy Birthday Buddy :) We celebrated last night with a little kid party and then had family over after that for cake and ice cream. Jack had so much fun. He has been so excited for MONTHS. I made two cakes for the parties, one was a fire truck and the other was Spider Man. Grandma Terri baked a Texas sheet cake (yum!)that we decorated with Tow-Mater and Lighting McQueen for him to take to day care today. So we have had plenty of cake and ice cream. The kids had fun beating the pinata, but in the end Daddy had to break it for them. They also played a quick game of pin the tail on the donkey... and I'm pretty sure they all cheated or they are all pro's because everyone did so good. He got spoiled with all the cool toys from his friends. Thanks to all of you! He is in love with all the transformer toys, his cowboy hat & boots, the Harley toy and the toy fire station! He's a pretty good little boy most of the time and WE LOVE HIM! I just wish he'd quit growing so fast!

If anybody actually reads our blog, sorry we haven't updated for a while...

October has been a long and trying month for us, but each day seems to get a little bit better. Hopefully it will continue to do so. Not that I really want to post about it but, I had a miscarriage for those of you wondering what I'm talking about. It's been a heart breaker for me, but I know someday we'll be together again.
Thanks to everybody who's helped out
it means a lot to us to know so many people care about us!

Jade is doing well in kindergarten and seems to like it most days. She comes home telling us all sorts of things (some days I think she's getting too smart). This week has been red ribbon week at school "just say no to drugs" so they've been doing crazy things everyday, but it keeps her entertained. She got to dress up in her butterfly costume for school today, I hope she doesn't freeze.

Jack is growing like a weed & I think he weighs more than Jade now! He's been so excited for Halloween and to carve his pumpkin, which still hasn't happened -guess we should do that tonight. this morning when he put on his batman costume he was singing the "Da-na, da-na Batman!" song it was pretty cute. He is dressing up as batman.

We are hoping the weather will warm up enough to go trick-or-treating tomorrow. If we get lucky we will take some pictures outside, but we will take some of the kids dressed up for sure!
